Dandilion Wine
There are no less than three (3) songs out there about Dandilion Wine, but this one is my absolute favorites. It’s written, produced, and sung by John “Poppa John” Bedard who just so happens to be the very best friend in my life that I have never yet had the privilege of meeting in person. But over the years, I have had the privilege of getting to know John, and he’s quite a good guy!. And I’m sure we will recognize each other when we get up there in heaven and get to actually see each other—and Jesus too!
If you recognize his name, it’s probably because Brother John is the man who started the Catholic Reformation page on Facebook which is a really popular page. Anyway, Poppa John has 12 grandkids (last I heard—anyway), and he wrote it for his favorite wife (and yes—his only wife) Liz.
