You don't have to go to Fatima or Rome to be on pilgrimage…

You can get up on a Saturday morning… drive 45 minutes or so… visit a Catholic church you've never entered before… spend some time before the Tabernacle… go to Mass (if the timing works)… discover something interesting in that nearby town or community… eat at a local restaurant… meet somebody you wouldn't otherwise have met—and be back at home again long before dark.

That's pilgrimage scaled for ordinary life.

And underneath it is your bigger idea from Isaiah 35:8.
