E-Z (Easy) Evangelization!
Changing the World With a Little Humor, a Lot of Love, and the Good News!
Most Catholics love Jesus and the Church He established nearly 2,000 years ago. We treasure our faith, the Sacraments, and the beauty of our Catholic traditions.
But when it comes to sharing our faith with others, we tend to be a little shy. We don't want to intrude, offend, or sound like we're preaching. It seems to be part of our Catholic DNA!
Here's the thing, though. Jesus didn't ask us to keep the Good News to ourselves!
In Matthew 24:14, Jesus tells us that the Gospel—the Good News—will be proclaimed throughout the world to all nations before the end comes. And in Matthew 28:18–20, He commands His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them.
That's a pretty big assignment! But it's a mission for every Catholic—not just priests, religious, and famous evangelists.
And you don't have to be St. Paul, Bishop Fulton Sheen, Bishop Robert Barron, or even a funny old guy like Opa to participate!
You just have to be who God made you to be—right where He planted you. And that’s something we all can do.
Beauty, Love, and a Simple Invitation
At Catholic Roads, we encourage everyday Catholics to experience the faith-fueling joy of pilgrimage. Visit a beautiful Catholic church, spend some time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and perhaps invite a friend along.
Our churches are filled with beauty, history, and reminders of God's love. Sometimes a simple invitation to experience that beauty can open a heart to the Good News.
But there's another wonderfully easy way to evangelize.
Make somebody laugh!
That's why we created Reach One Cards.
A funny cartoon on the front. A short, loving Christian message on the back.
No sermons. No arguments. No awkward conversations.
Just give someone a card—or leave one with a generous tip, a friendly note, or a simple act of kindness.
You don't have to say a word! Just leave a smile and something of the sweet aroma of the Holy Spirit wherever you've been. And of course, pray for that person after your encounter is over.
Who knows what God might do with that little card and your little prayer too?
One Card. One Giver. One Receiver.
Imagine Catholics everywhere doing this.
One person shares a card. Someone smiles and reads a little Good News. Perhaps that person shares it with someone else.
Now imagine hundreds, thousands, or even millions of Catholics doing the same thing!
We really can help change the world with LOVE and the GOOD NEWS—one person at a time.
So here's our invitation.
Get some Reach One Cards. Give them away. Tell other Catholics about them, and encourage them to do the same.
Fill your little corner of the world with humor, kindness, and reminders of God's love.
After all, evangelization isn't about winning arguments. It's about loving people enough to share the greatest Good News the world has ever received.
And sometimes, it begins with a funny little cartoon!
You don't have to preach to reach!
It's Cool2B Catholic!
