Old Elwood didn’t get the response he hoped he’d get when he ran to tell Father that Jesus was in town. But that didn’t matter much to him. He had to tell someone!
When you start noticing the presence of God where you are, it won’t always be well received either. But don’t let that spoil your joy! God feels that same joy when his children run to him.
The joy of encountering God in the everyday world around you is always an amazing blessing!

The Samaritan Woman Noticed…

It was an ordinary day for her. She went to Jacob’s well to get some water for her household. She had done this hundreds of times. But this time was different—she noticed something. It was Jesus.
In her “noticing,” The Samaritan woman changed her life—forever. And soon, the lives of many others back in her village were changed too. That’s because she couldn’t keep the amazing, good news a secret!
Noticing Jesus made her cool back in that village!

Jesus is with us! Put your trust in him—expect to encounter him—and you surely will start noticing him everywhere you go!
